🚦 The City of Abbotsford is updating traffic signals at four intersections to improve traffic flow and safety.

The four intersection locations are:
1. McKee Road & McKee Drive
2. George Ferguson Way & Babich Street
3. Mt.Lehman Road & Harris Road
4. Townline Road & Downes Road

AbbyPD seeking vehicle involved in fatal hit and run:
Last night at 8:30 pm, Abbotsford Emergency Services responded to a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian in the 32600 block of Marshall Road. A newer model SUV-type vehicle struck a 77-year-old South Asian male who was walking on the roadway.

The pedestrian was transported to hospital by BC Ambulance Service. Sadly, the pedestrian succumbed to his injuries in hospital this morning. We offer our condolences to the family and friends of the deceased man.

Abbotsford Police Department Detectives would like to speak to the witnesses who stopped to render assistance and act as interpreters at the scene.

The Abbotsford Police Department are asking for the driver of the vehicle to do the right thing and come forward to speak with investigators.

Police are seeking witnesses, CCTV footage and dashcam footage to help identify the driver and vehicle involved in this hit-and-run.
