I may be just a little bit obsessed with birds… but with a name like Robin, perhaps it was always meant to be. 🤎

Over the years, these sweet little feathered treasures have found their way into every corner of my nest—and apparently, I’ve never met a decorative bird I didn’t love! Each one adds a little touch of nature, charm and happiness to the spaces around me.

This Calgary Transit pass was tucked between the pages of a book I rescued.

It’s dated 2014—quite possibly the last time someone opened this book before it found its way to me.

There’s something about sunflowers that feels like the perfect little bridge between summer and fall. 🌻

They hold onto all the warmth and sunshine of summer, while gently reminding us that cozy days, golden leaves and sweater weather are just around the corner.

These mason jar bathroom pieces bring a sweet touch of farmhouse charm to the season—and I think that little blue truck may be my favourite part. 🤎

While searching for books recently, I met a lovely elderly woman and asked if she donated her books when she was finished reading them.

“Oh no, dear,” she said. “These books have outlived their usefulness. I toss them in the recycling bin when I’m done with them.”

Needless to say, I gave her my phone number and asked her to call me the next time she had books she was ready to part with.

Because around here, an old book hasn’t outlived its usefulness—it’s simply waiting for its next story. 🤎

Market prep is in full swing, and the finishing touches are being added one little tag at a time.

As I get each stack ready, I can’t help but wonder which ones will catch someone’s eye… which words will touch a heart… and which stacks will find their way into the homes of the people I meet this Saturday.

After almost two years away, I’m so excited to say that Chickabay Creations is heading back to the market scene! 🤎

This Saturday, you’ll find me at the 8th Annual Carstairs Show & Shine inside the Carstairs Curling Club from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

I’ll be bringing along lots of hand-stamped book stacks and handmade treasures—and I would truly love to see a few familiar faces. It feels so good to be doing this again!

A special little stack is heading to a very special person. 🤎

This is the first time I’ve ever stamped a tiny heart onto the top of one of my stacks. It felt like the perfect way to quietly mark this one as something extra special—made with so much gratitude and a whole lot of love.
