When comparing air conditioning companies and estimates, please make sure you are comparing more than just price.
At Airdrie Air, we are extremely thorough with our installations and provide every customer with a detailed Buyer’s Guide and Comparison Sheet explaining the installation process step-by-step. Unfortunately, 95% of companies are either skipping important steps or cutting corners to offer lower pricing.
Many contractors entering the HVAC industry today are primarily plumbing companies or general service companies that do not specialize in heating and cooling systems. While they may offer lower prices, they are often not completing half of the work required for proper installation, efficiency, performance, and long-term reliability.
An air conditioning system is a major investment, and improper installation can lead to:
• Reduced efficiency and higher utility bills
• Poor cooling performance
• Shortened equipment lifespan
• Warranty issues
• Expensive repairs down the road
We have already replaced multiple systems installed by other companies that were either done incorrectly, abandoned by contractors no longer in business, or installed by companies not returning customer calls after problems developed.
We strongly encourage you to use our Buyer’s Guide and Comparison Sheet when reviewing estimates and proposals from any contractor. Ask questions. Compare scopes carefully. Make sure you understand exactly what is included — and more importantly, what is not included.
Buyer beware: the cheapest quote is often not the best value.
Also, please take the time to check company reviews and reputation. At Airdrie Air, we have over 1,100 five-star Google reviews and proudly focus only on servicing Airdrie and Crossfield. Per capita, we are likely one of the highest-rated HVAC companies in Canada for the number of reviews we have received.
Our goal is not simply to install equipment — it is to provide a professional, long-term solution done correctly the first time.
Thank you for considering Airdrie Air.
