Throwback to a small project I did for a couple good friends a few years back. They were having their kitchen renovated and adding some upper cabinets, but to do that, they needed their bulkheads extended first. Thankfully, they knew a guy! 😉

Sometimes a little TLC and a touch of paint can make a big difference! A bit of water staining can be cleaned up with a little detail sanding, some spot primer, and a fresh coat of finish to make it look as good as new!

I was very happy to have the opportunity to freshen up this wonderful couple's home after getting their main floor hardwood re-finished!
We brightened up the main hallway and upstairs with some lighter paint, and took care of some drywall dings that happened over the years!

Hello everyone! My name is Craig and I am the owner of CB Home Services Durham, offering reliable and affordable handyman services to our local area here in Ajax, and the surrounding region.

I decided to start this business because I have always held my work to a high standard with a strong belief in getting things done right the first time. I have completed numerous projects within my own home, as well as for many of my family and friends, and wanted to continue doing so for others in my community.

As a homeowner myself, I understand that it can be difficult (sometimes near impossible!) finding the time to take care of many of the constant improvements and fixes we would like to make around the house. But this is a big part of what drove me to start this business; I knew that I had the skills, tools, attention to detail, and desire to produce quality work to help more people around me.

After working for several years in the property restoration industry, I was able to build on the skills I had already developed through my personal interest in carpentry and home repair, and develop/hone other skills such as drywall installation and repair, tiling (including walls and floors), LVP flooring, trim carpentry, painting and more.

Some of the past projects I have completed include a full remodel of a bathroom ensuite, refinishing of a staircase (changed from carpet to hardwood treads and risers), a full basement renovation, custom wood shelving, tiling of kitchen backsplashes, expansion of existing kitchen bulkheads, yard cleanup and rehabilitation, and wall hanging of a variety of things ranging from picture frames, wall art and curtains, to tv's and large mirrors.

So if you're tired of that "to-do" list looming over your head, just leave it to me, so you can enjoy your home, like you should!

Some of the services I offer are: drywall repair, painting, wood refinishing, finish carpentry (baseboards, door/window casing, etc), LVP (Luxury Vinyl Plank) flooring installation, toilet and plumbing fixture replacement/installation, furniture assembly, garage and basement cleanup (organizing and cleaning spaces- can include installing shelving, racks or hooks), wall mounting (tv's, blinds, curtains, shelves, pictures, wall art, mirrors, etc), exterior property maintenance, and just about any other small-medium sized repair you might need done. Nothing's too small for me to help with!
