Now Hiring: Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator

Valley Paving & Excavation Ltd. is currently seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our growing team. We are a fast-paced paving and excavation company working on residential, commercial, and provincial projects.
If you take pride in your work, operate equipment safely and efficiently, and aren’t afraid to get out of the machine when needed — we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
*Operate excavators, loaders, skid steers, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
*Perform excavation, grading, site prep, trenching, and backfilling
*Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
*Follow site plans and instructions
*Work independently and as part of a team
*Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Requirements:
*Proven experience operating heavy equipment
*Valid driver’s license
*Reliable transportation to and from work
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
*Ability to work alone and with a team
*Strong understanding of safe work practices
*Criminal Record Check (must be able to pass)
*References required
Assets (not required):
*Class 3 license
*First Aid certification
*WHMIS certification
*Experience in paving operations
*Mechanical knowledge related to the maintenance and troubleshooting of construction machinery.
