Before & After: From Dated and Closed-Off to Open and Organic ✨

We took this once-compartmentalized space and opened it up to light and life.

The transformation:
- Staircase opening removed for better flow
- Original cabinets refreshed with paint
- Upper cabinets replaced with open shelves
- Custom island with repurposed cherry top
- Built-in corner dining bench
- Original hardwood refinished with new hardwood seamlessly added to match

Out with the walls, in with the warmth. Proof that the best renovations honor what was while creating something better.

Transformation Thursday: Hair Salon Service Counter ✂️✨

We love a good makeover, especially one that proves you don’t need a full renovation to make a big impact. This service counter originally lacked storage and functionality, and since it’s the first thing people see walking into the salon, it needed to create a strong and welcoming first impression.

By reimagining the existing structure, we refreshed the space with:

• High-end, modern materials and finishes
• Improved functionality
• New under-counter storage
• Two small privacy walls that conceal monitors and offer a spot for product display

The result is a reception counter that truly reflects the elevated experience clients receive at Vivid.

Sometimes the most impactful transformations come from working with what you already have. 💫

**R.O.'s Dining Area Reveal!**

Another small part of a very big renovation!

We designed and built a custom L-shaped bench that maximizes the corner window area while providing comfortable seating for R.O. Includes hidden storage underneath-makinf the most of every inch.
Custom cushions were made by Sarah Delaney to exact specifications with neutral linen-look fabric that ties into the homes color palette.

-Installed beautiful hardwood throughout the dining area to tie into the existing hardwood in the living room area.

-Upgraded pendant light.

Before & After ✨

Our client R.O.'s vanity area transformation perfectly blends old and new charm.

The showstopper? This gorgeous antique hutch that R.O. has treasured for years. I lovingly restored it to bring back its original beauty.

The partial wall behind the vanity creates a stunning feature ledge with reclaimed wood – adding both extra storage and the perfect backdrop for those eye-catching wall-mounted taps.

Even the marble vanity top has a story! We custom-cut it from salvaged marble pieces we've been saving for just the right project.

Introducing...Michelle Cameron Designs 🌿

Rooted in a life surrounded by sawdust, fabric swatches, and the quiet magic of transformation, my journey into interior design has been shaped by generations of creativity. From my parents’ workshop to designing and building a home with my husband, this journey has been years in the making.

After years of event decorating, building our dream home, and working alongside my husband in his renovation business, I took the leap to formalize my passion. I recently graduated with my diploma in Interior Design from the Interior Design Institute, where I refined my skills in space planning, 3D rendering, and biophilic design.

I’m thrilled to say Michelle Cameron Designs is officially open to inquiries and bookings for consultations. Let’s work together to create spaces that are beautiful, functional, and filled with heart. 🏡
