From our little farm, to your needles.

There is something truly special about knitting with yarn that is locally created.

Our small alpaca herd spends their days grazing right here at the farm, and every year, we carefully harvest their luxurious fibre.

To create our yarn, we take our raw product to a local Alberta mill to transform the fibre into beautiful, high-quality yarns.

Whether you’re looking for the unmatched softness of 100% pure alpaca or the versatile drape of our custom blends, every skein is small-batch, locally raised, and produced with the earth in mind.

When you create with our yarn, you’re not just making a garment, you’re wrapping yourself in our story of sustainable, local craftsmanship.

So excited to share this...

We are shipping our second order of raw alpaca fibre!!!

Why is this exciting?

Well, we've had our alpacas since 2021.
We've had our website around the same time. Our flower farm bloomed, our alpaca herd grew.

And our website?
It stayed quiet.
Our flower farm?
Also went quiet.

So, we went back to work, and our little hobby farm grew even more quiet.

It's now 5 years later, and all of a sudden, orders are coming through!! We have been quiet on social media, but continue to care and love our little herd.

And for us, getting these orders are so exciting. It means more people out there love alpacas 🥰

Their fibre can be used for so many good things!

In case you didn't know... Alpaca fibre is a natural, sustainable material that can be used from raw fleece to finished clothing!!

Raw fibre works beautifully for toy stuffing and felting, while processed alpaca becomes soft, breathable yarn and garments. It’s warmer than wool, hypoallergenic, biodegradable, and long-lasting—making alpaca a true zero-waste, slow-fashion fibre 🧡

Thank you.

Thank you for your orders. For supporting our little hobby. And thank you for loving alpacas as much as we do!

The #1 question: What's the difference between a llama and an alpaca?
The #1 misconception: How are your llamas? 🙃

Our llama, pictured below, has been gone a few years now and lived to at least 23. She was a rescue and our very first livestock animal ever. She was calm and never spit and had no interest in guarding, but that was not her purpose on our farm. The alpaca pictured is also one of our cuties.

It's cold. And snowy.
How do alpacas cope in these extreme winter days?

We feed them well (plus a little extra), we've plowed the deep snow from their pens for extra running room AND, to give them extra warmth, we also build igloo walls around their shelters!!
