Hitting 60 has really made these words come to light. I sit back in the mornings on the couch with my coffee, Raven on my lap, looking out the sliding door and just thinking of how things use to be. Thinking back to when I was a kid growing up, to being in my 20's and 30's and so on. Life sure has changed, the world has changed. Sometimes for the better but alot of times, not having learned any lessons from the past.

How we all came together at the start of covid, to just tearing each other apart during. People became entitled, mean spirited and some just stayed that way. What became of being humble and kind, having a nice word and just plain being thankful for life.

Give me the good old days anytime. I choose to keep it simple in my life and I wouldn't change it for the world.

Being a huge farmhouse style lover, one of my favourite renovation shows is Home Town. The visions of bringing warmth, family time and love into a home and having one slow down and make those memories is what Erin and Ben Napier strive to create.

I love that collabrated with Erin and Ben and brought, not only a gorgeous line of furniture, but fabrics that add colour and warmth to your home or cottage.

Barrie, we feature the "Annie" slipcovered accent chair. Can you envision some of these pieces in your family room cause I sure can.
