I've complained a couple time about downspout outlet installation, so I thought I would show you how it's supposed to be done. The outlets aren't sold in colours to match the trough so you shouldn't be able to see them, also don't create a dam of caulking around the outlet on the inside!

I still don't understand why contractors install downspout outlets on the outside of the eavestrough, this has to be my biggest pet peeve!!
Baffled to see 2 pieces of eavestrough with end caps instead of a clean hand cut miter!

I've been slacking on posting projects. This one was an interesting one, I was half way through the job installing charcoal grey aluminum and the customer changed their mind. They weren't happy with the grey and wanted Black instead, so had to remove all the grey and start over. The black was the right call though!
