Today's design spotlight is The Laurentian 3969 — a floor plan a lot of our followers ask about, so we thought it deserved another look.
What we like about it:
🛏️ The primary bedroom is on the main floor, so you're not climbing stairs at the end of the day.
🍴 🛋️The kitchen, dining, and living areas are all open to each other and sit under exposed timber beams, which gives the whole space a warmth you don't get with drywall ceilings.
🍃☕There's also a large deck off the living area, great for entertaining or just morning coffee.
If your household needs more room, the optional basement level adds 1,064 sq ft — two more bedrooms and a full bathroom. That makes this a solid option for a growing family, guests who stay a while, or multi-generational living.
Like all our designs, it's built Net Zero and Energy Star ready, and everything can be customized to suit your site and how you actually live.
