Frost Advisory Tonight

A reminder to protect those tender annuals, vegetables, hanging baskets, and newly planted containers tonight as temperatures are expected to dip. Cover sensitive plants or move containers indoors if possible to help prevent frost damage.

Elegant, resilient, and unexpectedly strong—orchids are a reminder that beauty isn’t about being simple, it’s about being intentional.

In the landscape world, they inspire us to think about detail: texture, contrast, seasonality, and those quiet moments that make a space feel elevated rather than just planted.

Not every garden needs to be loud. Sometimes the most powerful designs are the ones that feel refined, balanced, and effortlessly natural.

Today is National Get to Know Your Customers Day—and for me, that’s the best part of what I do.

Behind every landscape design is a real person (and usually a whole family) who wants to feel something when they step outside: calm, pride, joy, connection. My job starts with listening—how you live, what you love, what drives you a little crazy about your current space—and turning that into a landscape that actually fits your life.

No two properties are the same, because no two people are the same.

Whether it’s a front yard that finally feels welcoming, a backyard built for entertaining, or a low-maintenance garden that still feels beautiful through every season in Ontario, the design always starts with you.

So today, I just want to say thank you to every client I’ve worked with—and to those I haven’t met yet, I’m looking forward to hearing your story.
