Sometimes steel casing is the best option for water wells. PVC casing can crack in difficult drilling conditions. Other times we need larger diameter casings for sand screens and filter packs. We design wells based on what is best suited for the geology and the clients needs. After installing steel casing we line them with PVC to protect against corrosion.
