Meet Red Elf Coreopsis! A little firecracker that blooms from early summer right through to frost.

Full sun, average soil, decent drainage. That’s genuinely all she needs. In return you get deep crimson petals, that bright golden eye, and bees that can’t leave her alone.

Compact enough for containers or front borders. Big enough attitude to carry a whole garden.

This is what a three-year-old Bridal Veil astilbe looks like: that’s the payoff.

Right now ours at the centre are blooming exactly like this. Shade-loving, deer-resistant, comes back bigger every year. We’ve got a few varieties left (Vision Vulcano in the deep wine/pink too) but they won’t last. If your shade garden needs life, today’s the day.

Beech trees are some of the most versatile specimen plants for a garden, and we’ve got a GREAT lineup right now.

The Purple Fountain Beech brings a weeping, sculptural form OR a columnar look with deep purple foliage that arches gracefully; a true conversation piece for any front yard or feature bed.

For something more architectural, the Dawyk Gold Pyramidal Beech grows narrow and upright with bright golden-yellow leaves, perfect as an accent where space is tight but you still want height and colour.

Both are long-lived, low-maintenance, and bring serious character to any landscape. These prefer well-drained soil, part shade to full sun.

The sunny-spot peonies in our garden are popping right now, while the ones in shadier spots are still holding back. If you want a longer peony season, plant both!

Some of ours are heirlooms: my mother-in-law’s plants, with decades of blooming. One was a gift for my 50th. These plants can live 50–100 years, making them perfect for milestone giving.

We have The Fawn, Miss America, Red Sarah Bernhardt, and more in stock now, grown in Canada and ready to go home with you.
