Did you know fabric softeners are one of the most toxic household products we use?
Why not reduce you and your family’s exposure to toxic chemicals by making your own fabric softener dryer sheets with all natural ingredients?
All you need are reusable cleaning cloths, like J Cloths, cleaning vinegar, your favourite essential oil, and a resealable airtight container.
1. Cut your cleaning cloths just a bit smaller than the container you plan to keep them in.
2. In a jar, mix 1 cup of cleaning vinegar and 20 drops of your chosen essential oil.
3. Pour the mixture on top of your cut to size cleaning cloths, ensuring the sheets are well saturated. Pour off any extra into a spray bottle for spot cleaning.
4. Seal the container until you are ready to use your DIY dryer sheets. Gently wring out any excess liquid into the container. Throw the sheet into the dryer!

It’s that simple! And they work! Better for you, the environment, and your pocketbook.

A bottle of your favourite essential oil, with a few drops added to self adhesive felts, and strategically placed next to air vents, are cheaper and healthier.

DRYWALL REPAIR
Someone asked me why I provide tips that would help people do their own repairs, and risk losing a paying job.

The answer for me is simple. Some folks cannot afford to pay someone. I was in that position myself, and I want to empower people to learn new skills, and save money.
