🐵 Meet the craziest of the monkeys… SCOTT! 🐵

Scott is our longest-tenured employee, celebrating 10 years with Crazy Monkey Tree Service this year. From starting out as a groundie and stump grinder operator to becoming one of our crew leads and main bucket operator, he’s worked his way up through hard work, dedication, and a commitment to doing things right. He has been an integral part in building the great reputation Crazy Monkey has earned.

You’ll find Scott on job sites laying out the game plan, working with customers, and then up in the trees putting his skills to work - sometimes making the occasional monkey sound for the whole neighborhood to enjoy. 😂

The moment that piece breaks free 👌🙉

🌳This job featured the removal of a large silver maple on the customers shoreline that stretched way over the lake. With some precise rigging our crew was able to get it down safely and have all the wood cut up and left in neat piles. 🪵

Us: “Say less.” 🙊

All jokes aside, this was a removal of a large red oak tree that was starting to show signs of decay at the base. The customer was concerned with its proximity to the cottage with all the storms we’ve been having the past few years. We cut it down to the height the customer wanted, so they feel more comfortable with it out of reach of the cottage.

Meet the head monkey 🐒 Byron🐒

I’m the owner of Crazy Monkey Tree Service—the guy you’ll see up in the trees, on-sites, and making sure every job gets done right.

I’ve been with Crazy Monkey since the beginning, all the way back in high school, learning the ropes from the ground up. Two years ago, my beautiful wife and I, took the leap and bought this company that I take a lot of pride in. I treat every job like it’s my own home, and I don’t cut corners - just trees 😉

These days, I handle most of the management side of things, I’ll be the first guy you talk to on the phone and the one showing up to assess your trees (sometimes with my sidekick Finnley sleeping in the truck 🐾)

🌳Office Tour🌲

Our crews are still out dealing with remnants from last years ice storm.❄️ This job included the removal of a badly damaged white birch tree, a clump of partially uprooted red pines, and a number of cracked and hanging branches in multiple other trees around the property. 🙉
