Pride Flowers for Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈🌸

We’re an inclusive and welcoming team at Gardenerette and we’re so thrilled to celebrate Pride Month with our friends and customers as proud allies.

We’ve decided to share some flower picks that you can grab to make your very own garden a rainbow.

Inspired by Artist and Activist, Gilbert Baker and his 1978 design of the “Rainbow Flag” we broke down the meaning and symbolism of each colour in the flag and what it represents!

Red: Life 🔴

Orange: Healing 🧡

Yellow: Sunlight ☀️

Green: Nature 🌱

Blue: Harmony and Serenity 🌀

Violet: Spirit 🔮

None of this would have been made possible without the mentorship and passing of the keys from the precious owner, Steve. A big thank you to my partner Aaron, our wonderful families, our small but mighty team and supportive friends! It’s been a labour of love and we’re so grateful to have the most supportive people in our corner.

We have an update on Aisha’s first soil blocking & seed snail experiments... It worked! 👀🌱🪴😜

Look at the growth that’s happened since we first captured video of her sprinkling the seeds.
It’s so satisfying to see the fruits of our labour. 💕
