If you want to ride dirty, you gotta play dirty. I’ve been driving beaters my whole life. And that’s not showing any signs of changing any time soon. This old girl has her problems, but this radiator won’t be one for much longer. It was easier to get out than I expected, but now we wait. The new one is ordered, but it might take a bit. I’m glad to have the knowledge, ability, and tools to do this stuff. I was quoted $1000 for this job at a shop, but I can get a new radiator for $159 + tax. I’ll take the inconvenience and keep my $800 + dollars thank you very much. I bought this van for $1600, 4 years ago and I think I’ve hit the $5000 mark in my investment with this repair. Not bad right? “Swoopy” still has a long way to go.

Just finished a little backsplash tile job in Garibaldi Highlands. I always appreciate a nice warm indoor job when it’s dumping snow outside. My industrious client plans to wallpaper above the tile with ocean wave type print. Hopefully they’ll send me a picture!

With the recent rain, my favorite little waterfall is looking and sounding so lavish. Punctuated by the majestic Hodor of paradise, one might succumb to the illusion of internet opulence. Wishing an extra fancy Friday to you all.
