Obedience to the Word of God is our greatest weapon
2 Corinthians 10:4-6, Proverbs 21:20
(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
Obedience: compliance with an order, request, or law or submission to another's authority.
Disobedience: refusal to obey; failure to follow rules, commands, etc.; insubordination.
Are you ready to obey the word of God, so that whatever is disobedient to you, will come into obedience with you? Take for instance this passage of scripture.
Proverbs 21:20 says, “A wise man saves for the future, but the foolish man spends whatever he gets.” Now are you ready to be obedient to this word, so that when proverty, lack and shortage wants to come upon you it have to go? Why does it have to go? Because you obedient to the word of God that tells us not to spend everything we earn, but rather to save and invest. This way when they are calling for recession in the economy, that won't have any effect on you because you were obedient to the Word of God, that tells us to save and invest. So let us stop spending our money to look rich, instead your money to become rich. Start to be obedient to the word of God, so we can pull down strong holds over our lives.
