I (Reta) was raised to believe that if your work speaks for itself, do not interrupt it. As we enter our 14th season serving Brandon and the westman area, as the most/highly reviewed tree service on google, with happy returning customers, I think we are doing that. We do our best every day and consistency pays off. We have a culture of safety, curiosity and perseverance - Chris and I have worked very hard on this and we see it reflected back in our crew members!! (We were even finalists last year in the category of Small Business Excellence at the Chamber of Commerce Gala!!)
Having said that, it has come to my attention that there are folks out there who are 1) not insured (WCB is a mandatory field for those working in Arboriculture) 2) not licensed and 3) have no credentials or certification. Beyond our frustration that work will be done poorly, workers may be injured or killed, and we may get called to fix a dangerous situation at greater cost to the homeowner - it is that you, the homeowner, has been duped. That someone has presented themselves as something they are not, and put you, your home and their employees at risk.
This is not okay. You can hire us or another arborist, but please confirm that it is a qualified professional that is working in your yard!
I made this list of questions for you to ask arborists (works for any contractors)
