I have always enjoyed carpentry since I was young. My grandfather taught me in his shop, where he spent most of his spare time. I love the smell of sawdust and perhaps its because of all those fond memories with him. I've grown up in Brantford and many out there will remember me from the school years in town. After highschool I went on to pursue an Architectural Technology program In Kitchener at

Conestoga College. That program was cut short and I ended up working factories and construction jobs for years before returning to, and this time finishing, an advanced diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology. I worked for a year in framing before finding good work locally in Engineering. For 14 years I was a key designer for the custom design of Countertops and Laboratory Workstations at Mott Manufacturing. In short order of 5 years I had established myself as Engineering team lead for those product lines. I was critical to the development of the group as we grew our category outputs nearly 400%! The lessons learned from the great people around me have been abundant and so valuable to shape me to have a unique set of skills. I am now looking forward to put all those skills together to grow something for myself and my family, by offering custom decks, fences and design to Brantford and Brant County. White shaker is a classic style you can't go wrong with. The blank canvas of white allows you to easily add accents without risk of making the space too loud with trendy colours. It reduces the risk of getting bored of your kitchen too.... you can always switch out accents like a hood or lighting to suit your tastes as you like!! And..... your big investment in cabinets will still look great as the backdrop for your accents. 🙂
