CSA is working to harmonize with CSIA.
Standards of practice for any WETT certified sweep, technician, or inspector appears to be more strict than USA atm.
We are close tho. Most notable discrepancy is required floor pad dimensions.

Myth: A chimney sweep just brushes soot.
Fact: A CSIA-Certified Sweep performs a full safety inspection, tests the draft, checks for code compliance, and identifies hazards that could put your home at risk. 🔥🏠
Always trust a certified professional.

Damp cloth or newspapers dipped in ash works amazingly to scrub crap off pretty much anything.
I use stove glass cleaner from aw Perkins cause it works faster. Just don’t get it on ur skin.

The Deka Lake Volunteer Fire Department, The Interlakes Volunteer Fire Departments (all three stations) and the Mountain Spruce Community Centre are teaming up for this year’s Christmas Food Drive!
Donations can be dropped off at any location!

🕙 Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Will be collecting non-perishable food items and monetary donations to support the Interlakes Community Centre Christmas Food Hampers.

If you heat with wood there's no need to buy salt, the ashes work better than salt. 👍 Salt will melt the ice but refreeze, the ashes will melt some of it but doesn't refreeze it adds major traction. 👍👍
