WHEN HIRING A CONTRACTOR, MAKE SURE TO:

1️⃣ 🧾💵 OBTAIN A WRITTEN QUOTE (& DRAWINGS IF APPL.)
> So you can make sure you get what you’re paying for.

2️⃣ 🦺 VERIFY THEY ARE LICENSED & INSURED.

3️⃣ 📝 ENSURE RELEVANT PERMITS ARE OBTAINED
> So things are done right and you’re protected.

4️⃣ ⏰ CONFIRM TIMELINES
> So everyone is on the same page about who will be there, when they’ll be there, and how long it will take.

5️⃣📱TRUST YOUR GUT!
> When in doubt, ask for references (from former clients!)
> If you notice something, don’t be afraid to ask questions of them and verify what you’re being told
