We install new 5-inch and 6-inch continuous aluminum eavestrough systems with custom mitred corners for a cleaner, more professional appearance. Our gutters are secured using heavy-duty inside brackets fastened with long hex-head screws, eliminating visible fasteners and greatly reducing the chance of nail pops or loosening caused by winter freeze-thaw cycles. Larger downspouts help carry rainwater away faster and more efficiently, improving drainage and protecting your home. We also provide professional installation of siding, soffit, and fascia to complete the exterior of your home with a durable, finished look.

This client was having enormous moisture and mold issues in the attic space due to very poor ventilation. The attic was first remediated for mold, then Tops Roofing Company
replaced the entire roof deck with new plywood sheathing, installed 60m of soffit baffles, and installed GAF leak barrier, full underlay protection, Timberline HDZ 50-year shingles, and upgraded venting to Maximum roof vents. We further removed the old soffit, fascia, and eavestroughs, as well as the existing wood soffits which were preventing the attic space from breathing / air exchange. We then installed all-new black, continuous vented soffit, fascia, and eavestroughs to enhance perfect functionality and beautify the homes aesthetics.

Got ice dams? Roof leaks due to ice dams?
Ice dams are caused by warming of the attic space which melts the snow beneath the snowpack. The water runs under the snowpack over the warmer attic space until it crosses past the inside wall to the colder soffit or eaves overhang, where it freezes and continues to build upon itself, creating an ice dam. The dam in turn contains the meltwater, which pools, backs up under the roof shingles, and leaks into the home.
One or more things cause ice dams. Inadequate soffit or roof venting, poor insulation R values, soffits blocked with insulstion, or heavy snowfalls that bury roof vents, preventing the colder air exchange into the attic space which is drawn in through the soffits.
