❄️ Frozen well pipes?❄️

Been there. Froze that. Learned the hard way.

First time this happened it took me 3 days of trial, error, and noshowers to figure out a fix that actually works.

Now? About 1 hour without water. Sharing the secret so you don’t have to suffer 😅

The “don’t panic, just do this” method:

1️⃣ Kill the power to the well pump (step one or step regret).
2️⃣ Go grab white snow. Not yellow. Don’t ask.
3️⃣ Heat water to the temp parents enjoy their coffee — luke warm, never hot ☕
4️⃣ Set up a submersible pump with flow control on a ½” PEX line
5️⃣ Separate the well inlet line and push the PEX toward the ice blockage
6️⃣ Slowly recirculate warm water against the ice — add gentle pressure as it starts breaking free
7️⃣ Once melted, reconnect the well line exactly how it was
8️⃣ Power back on
9️⃣ Reheat your morning coffee… again… for the 3rd time

⏱️ Total water downtime: ~1 hour

If you’re on well water and winter likes to test you — hope this saves you a few cold, frustrating days. Stay warm out there 👊❄️

We might be a little late on this one… but good things are worth the wait! 😉

A big (belated) happy birthday to one of our hardest-working team members — Luke!

When Luke first joined the crew, he was a man of few words — maybe four in that first month 😅.
Now, his motto could rival Tiger Woods’ famous quote, “What’s the course record and where’s the first tee?”

Luke’s version?
👉 “Where’s the jobsite — and let me get to work.”

Tough as nails, dedicated, and built with zero quit — we’re lucky to have him on the team.

I Missed posting yesterday .. but better late then never .

Big Birthday Shout out to the Main Man Mikey

He is the real boss around these parts of town, I’ve watched this guy from the very beginning of his career , and couldn’t be any more proud of this machine of an installer.

From the day I showed him how to mitre his first seamless eaves corner . And his reaction was “ oh , that’s all there is to it ….

Now there ain’t no bend, Mike can’t bend, No Rotten Crooked house can’t be brought back to life and no fascia too high in the air.

Happy birthday brother. Enjoy your vacation next week.
