A renovation isn’t complete without the finishing layers.

This kitchen and nook once felt dark and heavy. Through thoughtful updates, the space was brightened and softened.

The upholstery and valances were tired and dated, so we reimagined the chairs with custom upholstery in a soft blue patterned fabric. Tailored Roman shades layer in texture and softness, bringing new life to the space.

Refinished hardwood floors help brighten the room and tie everything together.

A kitchen transformation that completely redefines the heart of the home.

This renovation turned a dated kitchen into a space that feels bright, refined, and beautifully functional. The original layout felt heavy with dark cabinetry and busy finishes, making the room feel smaller and closed in.

Through thoughtful redesign we introduced warm natural wood tones, a lighter palette, and clean architectural lines to create a kitchen that feels open, balanced, and timeless.

I’m the founder of KLD Interiors, a design studio I launched 14 years ago, where I continue to work closely with clients on everything from full home renovations to custom furnishings and layout solutions. Helping people create homes they love has always been at the core of what I do.

Most recently, I’ve teamed up with the talented Marianne ()to launch a new venture—KM DesignHouse. This exciting collaboration allows us to share our expertise through online courses and resources tailored for DIYers and homeowners who want to tackle decorating with more confidence. It’s been such a joy building this together and connecting with a wider community of design lovers.
