. Projects range from all tile, to plumbing needs and full bathroom renovations. The equipment and materials we use for installations are only the best that one can trust. Ranging from:
- Schluter Systems floor & shower systems
- Mortar, grout and also self-leveling compounds.
- Complete waterproofing membranes for showers, steam showers or any installation where moisture may be present. Installation of this ensures no water damage behind tiled surface.
- Uncoupling membranes. Installation of this avoids the possibilities of cracked tiles and grout due to thermal expansion and contraction, or subfloor movement.
- Inset shower niches. For easy storage of shampoos and soaps.
- In-floor heating systems.

Meet the face behind the tile!

When I’m not covered in dust, mixing mortar, or perfectly aligning layouts, I do occasionally trade the work crocs for a suit.

As a Journeyman-certified tile setter, Brewster Custom Bathrooms is my passion project and full-time dedication. I started this business to bring high-end craftsmanship, precision engineering, and beautiful, functional spaces to life for my clients. From custom showers to heated floors, I run the show from start to finish to ensure every detail is handled with absolute precision.

Clean lines and a little extra attention to detail!

This basement dry bar features 24x24 Harley series tile from Julian Tile, creating a sleek modern backdrop for the space.

Because of the wall protrusion on the left side, we added a Schluter Quadec profile with an outside corner cap to keep the edges clean and intentional rather than forcing awkward cuts.

Small details like that make a big difference in the finished product.

Simple design, clean lines, and a little extra love in the layout.

A fireplace is more than just a wall; it’s the structural anchor of your space.

We turned this area into a true focal point using custom large-format porcelain slabs. It takes a lot of patience to get those seams perfect, but the final result is always worth the effort!

The Process:

1. Precision on-site: On-site cutting and polishing for a custom fit.

2. Surface Prep: Deep cleaning and prepping for a maximum bond.

3. The Install: Using Grabo tools to set these massive LFT panels.

4. Solid Contact: Running a vibration tool over the entire mortared area to ensure 100% coverage.

5. The Finish: Precision-cutting the firebox once the mortar cures.

Note: The fireplace crew will be back to fit a custom flat black fl**ge around the firebox opening to complete the look.

Including the pony wall, Ditra Heat Duo on the floor, Kerdi Board waterproofing, and using the latest addition to their line drains:
Schluter Vario in the matching stainless steel floral shelf pattern.
This shower also includes a separate floor heat system dedicated to the shower base and bench. 🔥

A little green for St. Patrick’s Day!

This shower features Zellige Forest tile from bringing a deep natural green with subtle variation that gives the walls incredible movement and character.

The floor keeps the design bold with a 9x9 Nero Marquina Somport + Dortmund Matte checkerboard bundle from Saltillo, creating a timeless pattern that contrasts beautifully against the rich green walls.

Behind the scenes, the shower was fully waterproofed using Schluter KERDI, with DITRA PS used for the flooring prep to ensure a solid and long-lasting installation.

Finished with Prism Greystone grout on the walls and Laticrete Smoke Grey on the checkerboard floor, along with two Schluter floral corner shelves to complete the look.

A fun one to finish just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. ☘️

Sometimes the best designs are the ones that honour the home’s history.

This 1960’s house leaned into its roots by keeping the warm 70’s inspired colour palette while updating the finishes. The contractor supplied backsplash tile that paired perfectly with the rich wood ceiling and exposed beams, giving the whole space that nostalgic mid-century vibe.

This project also included installing 24x24 tile throughout the main floor and stair landing (not pictured), bringing a clean, durable foundation to the home while tying everything together.
Finished with Laticrete Sauterne grout and matching silicone to complement the warm tones of the tile.

Sometimes modern isn’t the goal — sometimes it’s about keeping the soul of the house intact!

Clean, classic, and timeless.

This bathroom features homeowner-supplied 3x12 beveled subway tile paired with a bold patterned hex floor that adds just the right amount of contrast. Crisp lines, tight spacing and Arctic White grout bring everything together for a clean, bright finish.

Behind the tile, the install was fully prepped using a waterproofing membrane and uncoupling system over the concrete slab to ensure long-term durability and protection.

A mix of subway tiles from Ames and Tile & Stone source, with a wavy feature that shines in the sunlight!

This was a unique project for a close friend where they couldn’t quite land on which tile they liked. So I took both of their choices and blended them together to create this one of a kind install for use of colours with a subtle take on Chevron (without the angles of course).
