From fresh ingredients and specialty products to incredible prepared foods (Breck and his son Hunter loved trying the chicken shawarma), it’s one of those local spots that keeps people coming back. Whether you’re looking to try something new or pick up ingredients for your favourite meal, it’s worth the visit.

We love highlighting great local businesses, and this is one we’d happily recommend to friends and neighbours.

Our team is gearing up for the summer heat... are you ready?

We’re in full force with AC installs, and taking the time to do each one well. That means careful inspections, proper maintenance and making sure every system is running the way it should when it matters most.

Busy season is here - and we’re ready for it.

Pssst… your HVAC system wants a new filter.

Filters need to be changed regularly to keep airflow clear and your furnace and air conditioning units running at their best.

It’s a small task that makes a big difference in comfort and performance year-round.

Bear with us... It’s that time of year.

As we get closer to summer and the temperatures rising, so do the number of calls, messages and service requests coming in. While we do our best to respond as quickly as possible, there may be times when it takes us a little longer than usual to get back to you.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as our team works hard to help every customer stay comfortable this upcoming summer.

Thank you for keeping us busy, we truly appreciate the support.

Do you have AC in your home?

Shoutout to a neighbour we think you should know about.

Dr. Matt Chow at is the kind of pharmacist who actually takes the time to listen. Great for the whole family, especially with kids, and the kind of customer service that is getting harder to find. If you are looking for a pharmacy where you are more than just a number, go check them out.

Spring cleaning season at Hunter’s Heating means the vans get the same attention we give your home.

Every year the crew dials everything in before the busy season hits. Fresh, clean, organized and ready to go.

As our general manager, Vlad sets the gold standard and makes sure every single van meets it. This is the Hunter’s Heating team showing up for you this summer!

Breck’s tip: Summer is coming and your AC needs a little love before you fire it up.

Here is how to get it ready:
Step 1: Remove the winter cover. Simple first step but an important one.
Step 2: Rinse off the condenser. The condenser is the outdoor unit. Over the winter it collects dirt and debris that restricts airflow. Give it a good rinse to clean the coils and let it breathe again.
Step 3: Check the breaker inside. Your AC has its own breaker and it may have been switched off over the winter. Make sure it is on before you expect anything to happen.
Step 4: Check your air filter before you turn it on. Your AC moves a lot more air than your furnace did all winter and it needs a clean path to do its job. A dirty filter restricts airflow and makes your system work harder than it needs to. Swap it out if it needs it.

Do these things before you hit that button and your AC will thank you all summer long. Questions? Give us a shout.

The early bird gets the cool house!

Right now, we’re booking into early June for AC installations. Which means there’s still time to be that neighbour who has it all figured out before the heat arrives. Get on the schedule and enjoy the easy, cool summer ahead.
