True North Railings is looking for an experienced Aluminum Railing Installer to join their team. This full-time position requires a mechanically inclined and proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills. The Aluminum Railing Installer will be responsible for layout measurement and product preparation prior to installation, installation of the railing system, job site and warehouse cleanup and other tasks as required.

THE COMPANY:

True North Railings is a Calgary-based company, in operation since 2017, that serves Calgary and the surrounding areas. We supply and install durable, dependable and low-maintenance aluminum railing systems for commercial and residential customers. We aim to be a reliable and customer service-focused company and understand that our employees are an integral part of helping us to achieve these goals.

THE POSITION:

· Measure, mark and record layout areas at the job site prior to installation

· Prepare and load the railing system package and required tools prior to installation.

· Install railing system as per customer specifications.

· Communicate with customers/contractors on the job site as necessary.

· Clean and organize the warehouse daily.

· Unload products when shipments arrive.

· Travel as required to job sites within and surrounding areas.

THE REQUIREMENTS:

· A minimum of 2 years experience in the construction industry or equivalent experience in a related industry.

· High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma (GED).

· Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean 3-year Standard Driver Abstract.

· Competency with a range of hand and power tools.

· Strong problem-solving, trouble-shooting and analytical skills.

· Ability to work under pressure to meet time-sensitive deadlines.

· Ability to work independently when required.

· Highly motivated team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude

· Customer service focused.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
