Posted • Dion Wakefield is the owner of PHAT Construction Ltd that is located in Calgary, Canada and specializes in retaining walls.

He is a highly experienced excavator operator with an impressive 21 years of experience in the industry. He is also a creative artist with a passion for natural stone retaining walls and he loves the finished creation when he has completed a job.

Dion has the luxury of having a whole lot of variety of excavating projects. Everything from clearing trees, various excavating jobs, building waterfalls and fish ponds to small residential landscaping jobs.

We are really happy to have recruited Dion for our ambassadorship and want to wish him the warmest of welcomes as one of our social media ambassadors for 2022!

We have been following his account on Instagram seeing him work his magic in everything that he does. Of course we want others to be able to enjoy his work as much as we do.

To his help Dion has a Steelwrist X18 tiltrotator and SQ quick coupler attached to his Case CX145. This has helped him a lot, both of making his job much more efficient but also a whole lot more fun to perform!

Because of the variety of jobs, he’ll need to change his work tools frequently. From bucket to grapple, grapple to pallet fork, forks to compactor, and so on. With Steelwrist SQ it is totally possible to make these kinds of switches, completely effortless from the cab.
