Three products, three very different windows.

A Luminette over a patio and living room, plus a Silhouette open to below. The Luminette's sheer vertical panels rotate for light and privacy and still walk through like a drapery. The Silhouette's vanes tilt open for soft daylight and UV protection, then close for privacy.

And a side-by-side Vignette over a patio — soft, roman-style folds with no cords in the way, matched cleanly across two wide panels.

Door shades have one job most people don't think about until it's wrong: stay out of the way of the handle.

These are MHZ glass-mount cordless shades. Instead of mounting to the door or the frame, the shade mounts right onto the glass itself, so the lever handle swings completely free — the shade never gets caught, bent, or ripped when the door opens and closes. And being cordless, they slide up or down by hand and stay exactly where you park them, so you can cover the lower glass for privacy and leave the top open for light.

Sheer drapery is doing two jobs at once in this Canmore home — and that's the whole point.

Closed, it softens the glare and takes the edge off the sun, but you can still see the mountains through it. Open, the panels stack clear of the glass, so the patio door works like a patio door and the bedroom window frames the view instead of blocking it. It's privacy and light without giving up either one.

Angled windows are where window coverings go to get humbled — that sloped top edge rules out almost every off-the-shelf option.

These cellular shades were custom-made to follow the angle of the glass, and because they're PowerView automated, they still run smoothly on the angle. No cords to wrestle on a specialty shape, no crooked stack — one tap and the whole wall of glass is covered, sloped corner to bottom rail. Motorization isn't just a luxury on angled windows; it's what makes them practical to use every day.

Swapping roller shades for drapery on a two-story window changes the whole room. Roller shades are clean and stack out of sight, but they read hard. A ripple-fold sheer on custom bend motorized tracks softens the light, keeps the view, and moves 20 feet of fabric with one button press. On glass this tall, motorization is not a nice-to-have — nobody is climbing a ladder twice a day to draw sheers.
