What is a seedling?

A seedling is a young plant grown from seed. Seedling development starts with germination of the seed (caused by correct moisture light and temperature conditions). After germination the seed “shoots” through the soil barrier and leaves are developed. These leaves begin the process of photosynthesis and the root system of the plant establishes itself.

At Grow2Go, we specialize in creating a growth environment indoors, before the optimal outdoor conditions. This allows the plant to reach maturity sooner and provide better harvests.

Hi there,

My name is Paul and I grow and garden different plant varieties as a hobby and as an alternative to grocery shopping. During my time learning about agriculture, I have noticed a lot of gardeners struggle to find the ideal planting conditions for different plant species. Often times, growers plant their crops outside of recommended seasons either starting them too early or too late.

My solution with Grow2Go is to provide seedlings available for easy transplanting to your home garden (as seen in the image below). This has become a game-changer for home growers. For example, a pepper plant that would usually take months to reach full maturity can be grown in advance of its season. Providing the plant with a "headstart" on the growing season, thereby allowing for larger and fuller harvests.
