Even though it's January and there is really not much "white stuff" on the ground where I live 60 miles west of Toronto, I still enjoy my garden.
Each day I walk about it and restock the bird feeders and rearrange the "garden gods".
I do still continue to snip and snap branches just because I like to play with the "positive and negative" space in my yard.
Even when we get snow, and I'm quite sure the big "dump" will happen soon, my shovel and blower are ready.
I just get dressed in my finest wool and boots and head out into the yard and walkways. I like everything in its place.
I guess I think of my small chunk of city property as an art canvas.
I sleep better when things are balanced!
Enjoy winter here in southwestern Ontario in the Carolinian Forest.
