A community in Pictou County, the province of Nova Scotia, and people across Canada continue to ask the same heartbreaking question:
What happened to Lilly and Jack Sullivan?
Lilly (6) and Jack (5) were reported missing from their Lansdowne Station home on May 2, 2025.
According to their family, the children had wandered away that morning from their home on Gairloch Road.
๐ A massive search began immediately.
RCMP, local police, specialized units, drones, helicopters, police dogs, and hundreds of trained search-and-rescue volunteers searched over four square kilometres of dense, heavily wooded terrain. Ground, air, and water teams worked around the clock, leaving no stone unturned.
After six days, RCMP scaled back the active ground search, noting the likelihood the children were still alive was โvery low.โ
Even then, Pictou County District Commander Staff Sgt. Curtis MacKinnon assured the public:
โWeโre not packing up and weโre not giving up.โ
๐ฎโโ๏ธ The investigation continues.
Since May, police have worked behind the scenes โ following leads, reviewing evidence, and pursuing every possible avenue.
The reward of up to $150,000 for information leading to their discovery remains active.
Their case has also been added to Nova Scotiaโs Major Unsolved Crimes Program, ensuring continued investigative support and resources.
Across Nova Scotia and Canada, people continue to hold space for these two little ones โ refusing to let them fade from public awareness.
If you know something โ anything at all โ please contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.

๐ Please keep Lilly and Jack in your thoughts. Continue sharing their story. Hope is what keeps this search alive.
