What an incredible project to be a part of! This basement came together so beautifully, and every single design decision and material choice was selected by the homeowner. and wow, she absolutely nailed it 👌🏼✨

Two standout features in this basement are the widened hallway for better flow and the upgraded LVP stairs.

What once felt like a space no one wanted to spend time in has been completely transformed. We stepped into a partial development and turned it into a true extension of the home.

By adding walls, we created defined, functional living areas and reconfigured the entry to the 4-piece bathroom for a more natural layout.

The LVP flooring is installed with a v***r barrier and cork underlayment, giving it added warmth and a softer feel underfoot.

And the color palette the homeowner chose? Absolutely spot on.

As we’re in the final stages of this basement development, I had to share what has been one of the most fun bedrooms we’ve had the pleasure of bringing to life.

From initial design through to completion, the space is elevated with a two-tone palette and a clean chair rail detail that adds depth and character.

As we wrap up another basement—just waiting on the final touches of custom-milled wood for the bar top and stage—we couldn’t hold off any longer.

Introducing: THE SPEAKEASY 🎶🍻♠️

This space was intentionally designed with distinct zones that flow seamlessly together. As you descend the stairs, you’re welcomed into a widened hallway that guides you straight to the bar. Turn the corner and you’ll discover the second zone—anchored by a real wood-burning stove, complete with three hidden doorways and a concealed bookshelf entrance. Continue on, and you’ll arrive at the third and final zone: The Stage, where performances are experienced up close and personal.

To bring this vision to life, we removed a bedroom and shower, and reallocated square footage from the existing laundry room to maximize the space where it mattered most.

A new concrete floor was poured and sealed to complement the overall aesthetic.

▫️ Two feature walls wallpapered + one limewashed for that ✨texture✨

🛎️ Gold-accented lighting throughout
