The main goal for this property was to improve the sun exposure to the naturalized garden and pond below.

Some trees were invasive species, like the White Mulberry and Chanticleer Pear, while others grew with such a poor structure that leaving them would only lead to additional cost of removal in the future anyway.

The Corkscrew Willow was more than 50% deadwood this morning. Our focus for this tree was to remove all the deadwood and reduce some over extended limbs/stems.

We also removed a very stubborn Wisteria vine (left at 5' per our clients request) that had climbed the trees and tangled itself throughout the backyard canopy. That was unfortunate. Though, I think the end result speaks for itself.

Help prevent the spread of oak

WHAT CAN YOU DO?
• Don't prune oak trees between April and November
• Don't move firewood
• Report suspected signs to the CFIA
• Check oak trees for signs of oak wilt

Signs of oak wilt:
• Dull green, brown or yellow leaves
• Cracks in the trunk
• White, grey or black fungus
• Early and sudden leaf drop
