Uplighting makes the colours pop in this 2’ by 3’ carved panel based on the 1924 painting “The Happy Isles” by Arthur Lismer. It is the twenty first panel in my “Through the eyes of the Group” series. Cheers. Bryan.

Here are the three most recent panels in my “Through the eyes of the Group” series. Each is my representation of nearly 100 year old paintings by the Group of Seven. They were so modernistic in their vision. Each piece measures 2’ by 3’ and is carved then stained with exterior stain. There are now 21 pieces in the series. Cheers. Bryan.

Out with the old and into the new! My last carved panel of ‘25 was inspired by a Lawren Harris painting while the first of ‘26 is after a Frank Carmichael painting. I am inspired by my “Through the eyes of the Group” series. I’m working on several print sizes both framed and unframed. In difficult times we must continue being inspired by positivity.
