🌼🌸🌼Thank you to Kelly and her team for working so hard to make us all feel welcomed and valued at this past weekends Mother's Day Market at the Bowness Community Association.

I don't really consider myself a people person and tend to lean more towards awkward introvert. Kelly was great about(with some degree of proding) making me comfortable with the idea of trying another market.

I'm so glad I did.

I've met some lovely folks and gained some valuable insight from seasoned market pro's and... the highlight of my weekend... I met Dotti. Dotti lives in Bowness now after leaving her beloved home in Kelowna to be closer to her daughter Jill. Dotti is THE sweetest, kindest 90 year old woman. She is beautiful, kind and just exudes love from those soulful eyes. I wish I had more time with her and as I watched her walk away, I couldn't possibly have wished more for every good thing for her future in her new home.

People of Bowness... if you should see a beautiful, tiny little woman in your midst with her walker, answering to Dotti, please be welcoming and talk to her.. she's just so lovely. Your day will be better for having said ' Hello'.❤️

The story... your kids and husband have used your gorgeous new towel to make the kitchen all sparkly and clean but your towel looks like a tragic DISASTER. 🙈 Now what???

These hard workers don't need a whole lot of attention or maintenance.  Wash them as you typically would any towel.  If you dry them completely in the dryer,  that's totally fine but they may need a little attention to un-crinkle them when they come out of the dryer.

If they look all shrunken and sad... don't worry!  It just means the fiber needs to be softened with the heat of an iron or steam.  All is NOT lost,  you haven't damaged your little beauty!

Typically it's best to pull them out of the dryer damp or give them a little tug to flatten the design and hang it to dry right out of the wash... either way... they'll be good as new.

**YOU CAN BLEACH THESE TOWELS**  No kidding!!  You really can!  (unless, of course,  you've purchased one of our lovely coloured towels.. in which case... please don't!)

The threads used to embroider these towels are super tough and can take whatever you dish out.  Sop up that spaghetti sauce,  throw them in the wash with bleach and VOILA!!! As pretty as they were when you bought them.

Please reach out if you have any questions and THANK YOU for supporting my little obsession with creating these for you.  It's truly a pleasure.
