Check out this five star upgrade
We got rid of these old rotten, ugly wooden doors and replaced them with Clopay Garage Doors Bridgeport doors in the extended panel design.
These doors have an R 12.9 insulation value with Intellicore polyurethane insulation.
This customer wanted maximum headroom that they could get in their garage, but also really liked the idea of a shaft mounted motor, but they were not sure if they could fit a motor between their beams in the garage.
We recommended that we stick with a standard lift garage door, which allows us to keep the shaft assembly and motor below the beams, but then we added a 4/12 pitch on the horizontal track to bring it tight to the ceiling. This was a tight fit, but worked flawlessly, and most importantly our customer was beyond thrilled.
