Momma goats are ready to have their kids. Time for some calm surroundings.

Unfortunately, the mosquitoes are SO bad. No one is getting a break from them.

How do I protect the mommas?? Researching that now.

It’s raining! And we have about half the garden done now. The rest is for another day. Very thankful for drops from heaven. May God bless the ground they fall on.

Praying the rain is hitting the fires to the south of us. We have friends around them and some are in stand by for evacuation.

Babies are hatching! Woke up to the humidifier beeping. Wondered what was going on. Went out to find two little chicks hatched causing the humidity to spike! All normal.

The pipping has started!! So excited…. Babies on their way. Awaiting for 27 to hatch. Some ended up duds with the final...

Getting ready for baby time!! Lots of littles in the works.

Candled chicken eggs in the incubator. Some were duds. 27 remain viable. Today is day 16! Praying that the two power outages do not affect the rest from hatching in time. Chicken eggs hatch at day 21. Brooder boxes are ready!!

Our ducks have been sitting on a clutch of eggs and hatch day is very soon. Hoping for some good mommas in there to take care of those babies. I have a brooder box ready just in case.

Nigerian Dwarf goats are at 138 days! These girls will be heading to the kidding pen in the next day or so. Cameras will be set up so I can check in on them anytime. ND freshen (have their babies) about 140-150 days. Medical bag is almost set up. Need to separate Billy-Bob from the girls and get him a buddy to hang out with.

So lots of new life on the farm! Getting excited as we get ready.
