To begin our story lets go back to the summer of 2012 when a friend had found a little puppy on the side of the road and brought her to Dave and Alex. After a vet check up and a little investigating, they had come to find she was part of a puppy mill and had many broken teeth from chewing her way out of a cage. So natural Dave and Alex kept her and got her healthy and happy and they named her Pepp

er. With 25 years of security experience and pepper by his side the idea hit him K9ine Security. Its now the spring 2019, They started out as a dream and mans best friend. Dave and Pepper hit the road in a K9ine GMC Acadia. They would patrol Northumberland County and keep our local business and community members safe. Then they got their first big event Stirling fair, and after that the K9ine name exploded across our County. Current day, Dave has over 80 employees in 10 different location stretching from Durham region to Quinte West, and adding to his growing team he has added more K9ines to the crew. The K9s Of K9ine

K9 Apollo – Apollo was the first K9 since losing Pepper in 2020. Apollo came to K9ine from a rescue in Northumberland County. Unfortunately, due to High anxiety he was unable to work as a patrol dog. So, after training him in basic obedience Dave rehomed him with our equipment supplier John. K9 Tracker – Tracker came to us from a rescue in Minden, Ontario called Snowflake meadows. Tracker was removed from his original home by Police due to sever neglect and abuse. After an initial assessment by Paul Caissie at Caissie Canine Instruction, they deemed him a prefect fit for the K9 program due to his natural tracking and apprehension abilities. K9 Tracker is currently our only fully certified K9. He is certified in Patrol, Scent Tracking and Apprehension. K9 Gator - Gator came to us from a rescue in Minden, Ontario called Snowflake meadows. Gator was a stray found in the Minden area. After a quick assessment from Paul at Caissie Canine Instruction, we noticed Gators natural nose. Over the past 3 days it has been an honour to host our first selection course for our KTAC Operations team. 7 highly motivated professionals took on the challenge. Facing limited sleep, ongoing physical challenges, combat and aggression control training, clearing tactics, verbal de-escalation training, K9 tactics plus more. These individuals put it all on the table and in the end made us incredibly proud. We welcome our new member Matt and backup member Ken. Amazing work!

What an incredible weekend at the Sutton Fair! 🎡🎠

A huge thank you to York Regional Police, the Sutton Fair Board, and all of the dedicated staff and volunteers who worked alongside the K9ine Security team to make this year's fair such a success. Your teamwork, professionalism, and commitment to the community helped create a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone who attended.

We're proud to share that the weekend was a tremendous success - thousands of fairgoers enjoyed everything the Sutton Fair had to offer.

One of the highlights of the weekend was a special visit from Tracker on Sunday! 🐾 He had a fantastic time meeting guests, bringing smiles to faces, and showing off the friendly side of K9ine Security.

To our incredible security team - thank you for your professionalism, dedication, and commitment throughout the weekend. Your hard work and positive attitude are what make events like this a success.

We're grateful to have been part of another amazing community event and look forward to seeing everyone again next year!

🎡🌾 It's Sutton Fair Weekend! 🌾🎡

The 169th Sutton Fair & Horse Show is here, and we're proud to be part of one of Ontario's favourite summer traditions! From exciting midway rides and delicious fair food to agricultural exhibits, entertainment, and family fun, there's something for everyone this weekend. The fair runs August 6–9 at the Sutton Fairgrounds in Sutton West, Ontario.

Our K9ine Security team is on site throughout the weekend, working behind the scenes to help create a safe and enjoyable experience for exhibitors, vendors, volunteers, and visitors.

🐾 **What an Incredible Few Days in the Community!** 🐾

Our K9ine Security team had the opportunity to visit the and Terry Fox Public School in Cobourg to demonstrate what our K9ine teams do and how these amazing dogs help keep people and communities safe.

From tracking demonstrations to showcasing the incredible bond between our handlers and their K9ine partners, it was a fantastic day filled with curiosity, great questions, and plenty of excitement!

One of the best parts of our job is connecting with the community - not just when we're providing security, but by educating people about the important role professionally trained security dogs play. Seeing everyone's enthusiasm and watching the dogs in action made the day even more rewarding.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, asked questions, and spent time with our team. We always enjoy opportunities like these and appreciate being part of such a welcoming community.

🤝 Supporting our community is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

Today, the K9ine Security team had the privilege of attending the Stuff the RAM – Backpacks for Kids event in support of Northumberland United Way.

A huge thank you to Sarah Turck Mortgage Broker for organizing such an incredible community initiative and bringing everyone together for a cause that will make a real difference for local children and families as they prepare for the new school year.

It was wonderful to see so many community members, volunteers, businesses, and organizations come together with one shared goal - helping ensure local students head back to school with the supplies they need to succeed.

Of course, K9 Tracker enjoyed meeting everyone too! 🐾

We're proud to support initiatives that strengthen our community and look forward to being involved again next year.
