Allow Me to Reintroduce Myself 😃
If we have not met yet, my name is Brayden Willmott. I am a full time university student at the University of Guelph and the owner of Collingwood Student Painters, operating through the Student Works Painting Program.
I grew up right here in Collingwood. From early mornings skiing at Blue Mountain to representing Canada on the national freestyle ski team, this community has always been a huge part of my life. Being able to run a business here and work with local homeowners has been an incredible experience.
Last summer was our first season operating, and thanks to the support from this community it exceeded every expectation.
In 2025 we:
🎨 Completed 80+ painting and staining projects
👷 Hired and trained 8 local students
⭐ Delivered 100 percent client satisfaction
Seeing homes transformed across town while helping students earn money toward their education was easily the most rewarding part of the summer.
Because of that support, we are scaling things up this year.
Our Goals for 2026
🏠 Serve 150+ homeowners across Collingwood and surrounding areas
🎓 Hire and train 14+ students to help fund their university and college tuition
⭐ Continue delivering 100 percent client satisfaction
At Collingwood Student Painters, we focus on delivering professional results while creating opportunities for hardworking students to gain real world experience.
