Major Accountabilities
1. Prioritizing and scheduling of the most important work to be done first
Handle phone calls, coordinate with scheduling and communicating with clients.
Prioritize transactions and be a buffer between sales & installation
Organizing and queuing of transactions as required to maximize efficiency and achieve expectations.
2. Handles the order quote process in a time sensitive and efficient manner by:
Assist in phone answering and directing calls as appropriate.
Assist in sales quote documentation in a timely fashion.
Monitor progress of quotes, calendar, shipping within the office from various points of contact.
Meet with retail customers and handle the complete process of any retail sales as may be required from time to time.
3. Delivering exceptional customer service by:
Being positive and courteous when dealing with customers and staff
Performing all clerical/administrative functions for any and all clients and builders to ensure each project is dealt with personally, from start to finish.
Attending PK sessions with suppliers to increase product knowledge
Updating data and email distribution lists for client and contractor communication
Advance relationship with partners through rapport and high level customer service.
Review and sign orders with customers either in person or via telephone
Work Experience / Education / Designations
Contractor supply service and/or flooring retail or design experience is an asset
Results driven team player with a high degree of flexibility and excellent organizational skills
Self starter who works well with minimum supervision
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Experience in business administration is considered an asset
Interested in rapid advancement of responsibilities and is career minded
Working Conditions
Standard office environment is provided
Require own transportation (office hours are 8:00 to 5pm)
Non-physical in nature with intermittent periods of sitting or standing
The majority of work will be conducted via computer and over the phone as well as some written documentation review
Pay is based on experience, with part time or full time opportunity ($18-25/hour range)
