A powder room with a welcoming glow. These guys killed it with the countertop/brick moulding! Crisp lines in the cabinets mixed with abstract veins up top, softened by a beautiful walnut floor and motion triggered strip lighting.

to this fun little studio job we did last year.. from an empty detached garage to a beautiful space with lots of feel. Here we have custom acoustical glass panel doors, double walls, lots of rockwool finished with acoustical cloth and cedar trim, tilted triple glazed acoustical glass panels for great sight lines while maintaining the desired sound of the room.. what a brilliant space to jam ✌🏼 #101

What a crazy week.. framing-finishing-siding-forming-cabinetry. Sometimes 3 different categories of carpentry in one day.
Changing set ups, unloading and loading, travel time, going to and dealing with suppliers that are still open, in order to satisfy and complete our customers investments.. it got a little hectic at times I must say. The down time was spent sleeping and going to multiple grocery stores, scrounging for whatever the hoarders have left us on the shelf. Doing all this while keeping the closest attention to running our production as safe, and clean as possible during this season of sickness thats among us.

Now that the week is over, I am sitting back and listening to these statistics that are now here in our home, in Canada. As scary as it may be that more will become sick with covid-19 and more will die, we need to work as a community and as a people to flatten the curve. As I look back at my week, the pressure of being scattered, nervous, tiered and disoriented by the new conditions of our country. It doesn’t even compare to what the doctors and nurses on our front lines are feeling and going through. Our hospitals are full and the worst has not yet passed. My brother phoned me and told me that we who are healthy have to take action, which can be done in many ways. The way that I’d like to take action is to reach out to the people over social media, for information and connections on how we can help those who are helping the people. It would be so sad to see lineups down the street of a hospital because of a lack of rooms and equipment. The construction industry is worth 106 billion in Canada.. if our people and our government don’t come together soon with a plan of action to accommodate the sick, then we’re going to sink in the sickness.

I’m not posting this to scare people but only to spark interest and ideas. If anyone knows anyone who knows anyone that’s thinking about the idea of building more rooms and making more space please contact me. I know I can build, and I can build a room pretty damn fast and I know there’s lots of you out there that could also take action to make a difference. What can you do? What do you WANT to do vs what do you NEED to do? What ARE you doing? Collecting EI, watching Netflix and picking away at your stockpile of food? Unfortunately that will only take us so far.

I want to be up front in this fight and I want us as a people to come together as a team. If we all just fight for ourselves then yes some of you will win.. but many will lose and that’s not the way of our nation, it never has been so let’s not start now.

If you can PLEASE share this post, maybe it will spark a fire, or even an idea in the right persons mind to assist me in the idea of volunteering to build.. so more may heal. THANK YOU for reading. I wish you all the best, keep praying, keep loving, and keep keeping it real ✌🏼❤️

You know how some people talk about when one door closes, another will open? Well with the doors we install you can open and close at free will.. now that’s empowering! 😜😇

Today was mostly about organization and planning.. door delivery’s rarely come perfect that’s why it’s important to have a detailed schedule for reference, and to move every door to its home right away so you can catch any mistakes ASAP. Our backs are a bit sore after sorting 25 doors over three floors all morning long.. but two of us still managed to get 16 in by the evening.. back at it in the AM 👍🏼✌🏼

Hello everybody! It has been a while since we’ve been able to post but now we have finally been able to get away to recuperate and reflect...

This past year and a half has been a roller coaster due to a major health issue with our VP/Director. We’re happy to announce that things have gotten much better after almost a full year of being down and out! Since then we’ve been working hard on turning things around, completing/putting huge dents into a couple major projects and completing a few small but fun jobs as well.

stay tuned for a number of informational and eye catching posts (pretty&ugly) involving renovations, excavations, form work/concrete, framing, millwork, cabinetry, doors, stairs, siding and everything to do with our 60th home, a 6500 sq/ft custom! Here’s a few inspiring photos taken here in Sydney Australia.. Thank you for those who have stuck around and we’re so blessed to be back in action, stay tuned and happy weekend to all!
