Update from the City of Corner Brook on the option to use containers for weekly recycling collection 👌

Good day, folks. Happy Monday.

After discussions with residents as well as our contractors at Murphy Brothers, we have decided to allow for the use of bins for curbside recycling. This will be strictly limited to bins 120L or smaller. The use of larger bins for recycling will be prohibited, as the bin depth can result in repetitive motion workplace injury during collection.

To be clear, this is not a requirement but an option for those who need it. Blankets and nets are also allowed to ensure animals don't pick, and the recycling does not blow away on windy days.
