We are two months out from occupancy at the Branch Ranch!

The Branch Ranch has walls and a roof! Energy efficient insulation-backed zip panels will support the natural white cedar siding to come. The standing-seam metal roof is complemented by the gorgeous aluminum-clad wood windows and doors, both by Ultimate - Windows, Doors, and More.

Rehabilitation is soon to be underway for this incredible house in Sea View! Sutherland House Seaview was built in a Scottish gothic-revival style, with tear-drop "gingerbread" trim that gives the house a delicate sweetness. Originally called Melrose Cottage, this was home to Lucy Maud Montgomery's aunt Margaret, where she often spent her summers. In a journal entry, L.M. Montgomery describes Melrose Cottage: "It is such a lovely place - an ideal country house, big, roomy and delightful".

Maintaining this charm and carrying its inspiration throughout, the renovations will make this house a home once again, with an added touch of increased insulation and energy efficiency by furring exterior walls. It truly is a special place and we’re so excited to see this house restored with life!
