Are your spruce trees turning brown? Do you notice small holes in the bark of the base of the tree? You've most likely got Spruce Bark Beetles. They're going wild this year and killing off lots of spruce trees all around PEI. If you have a spruce tree that you think has spruce bark beetles, give us a call to remove the tree ASAP before it spreads to others!

We often get asked "what do you do with all the wood?" when it comes to hardwood, we tend to save it for firewood processing during the later half of our season. But some pieces are too nice to be burned. So we make things with it!
We took this maple tree down last year, and the size of the trunk was massive! So big that we could not lift it with our grapple truck, so we had to cut the trunk into cookies. Fast forward to this year, a friend of ours was asking if we could make an outdoor table to go by their firepit. And so, with all this wood that would have gone into a landfill, we now have a outdoor table that should last for years and years to come.

Every year there is 1 monster poplar tree that we have to take down. Hoping that this one is the only one for this year... This monster was roughly 85 feet tall, and leaning heavily on this garage. We knew when we priced it that we would definitely need our friend Mike for some help, and with his help everything went smoothly!
