As we make the transition from Art Knapp to Gardenworks, below are a few key dates a

nd changes we wanted to share with the community of Comox Gardeners:

AUGUST 25th - LATE SEPTEMBER - The Store will be CLOSED for some housekeeping and re-organizing as we transition to Gardenworks. SEPTEMBER 23rd - LATE OCTOBER - The Store will be OPEN with an interim selling area that includes many of your favourite areas like fashion and home decor offerings as we conduct some store renovations. END OF OCTOBER - Grand Re-Opening as Gardenworks - watch for details on our social media and here on the website for lots of fun activities to celebrate.

As we approach fall and enjoy summer harvests, it’s a great time to start thinking about what to plant next!

Different vegetables have different soil needs, and you can use crop rotation to your advantage. Here are a few easy swaps you can make to extend your harvests. Or, if you’re not planning to grow more food, try adding a ground cover to empty beds to enrich the soil and help prevent weeds.
