Completing a well decommissioning, fish out the pump string dropped down the well by previous “well guys”, pull well liner, sterilize and fill with bentonite.
Wells not being used or maintained should be decommissioned to prevent aquifer contamination. Funding available for Ag producers https://www.alberta.ca/water-program
