Had some fun removing a spruce tree this week. Could not do this without help from my friends.

Had to remove some tall dead pines in Kingsgate as they were threatening structures and horse fences. Patience and a good rope puller we got them down safely.

This Large 110 foot tall larch tree was named the "roof wrecker"
This tree was planted to close to the house about 60 years ago. Every time the wind would blow branches would fall out of the canopy and pierce the roof. A hard decision was made to remove it. With a tight dropzone and a heavy lean towards the house great care was taken to safely remove this beast. Jeff climbed to the tippy tops to remove a manageable piece without damaging the property or obstacles around. We where able to cut the trunk in lengths to get it prepared for the mill. Turning your urban trees in to lumber. Pics of milling to follow.
