I checked HOSTING A BUS TOUR off my bucket list last week! ☑️🚌🌟
I may not have slept for several weeks leading up to it, but it’s safe to say that my very first Vintage Shopping Bus was a HIT! Our crew journeyed to the South Shore of Nova Scotia on a lovely Coach Atlantic bus and visited so many beautiful shops along the way. We stopped in Lunenburg, Mahone Bay and Blockhouse and scored SO many treasures throughout the day!
Thank you to my first passengers for trusting me with this experience, to my sister Menna Riley for being my second brain as I planned the trip and beyond, to our fantastic driver Ken, to Eli + Trix for a fabulous lunch, and to ALL the hard working shop-owners along the route who welcomed us with open arms and INCREDIBLE finds! Also a big shoutout to COWS Creamery for supplying us with Moo Crisps to enjoy on the bus- What a TREAT! 🧀

Your lunch (included in your Vintage Bus Tour ticket) is from on Main Street in Mahone Bay and will be a DIY taco bar consisting of: 🌮🌮🌮

Your choice of:
🐟 local haddock & charred peach salsa
🫘 black bean / pico de gallo / queso
🧄 roasted chicken / picked onion / garlic aioli
🥓 crispy porkbelly / homemade slaw
In addition to:
🍚 dirty rice
🥗 green salad

Each meal has the option for takeaway in case you’d like to box it and sit out on the waterfront or one of the beautiful spots around, OR you’re welcome to dine in!
Your meal also comes with a cookie + bottle of water / soda or a coffee. ☕️
